All the links below are to external sites and open in new windows

State Department logo US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs

Travel information includes country specific information, travel alerts/warnings, and more.

Wikipedia logo Wikipedia listing on Africa

The biggest multilingual free-content encyclopedia on the Internet. Since this is a community-built reference and a tertiary source (like all encyclopedias, one with no original research) it is not considered an appropriate citation for a professional publication. Therefore Wikipedia articles should primarily be used for background information and as a starting point for further research.

World Atlas.com logo World Atlas.com

A lot of information including all sorts of maps; also a large list of country flags.
